1000 FREE Business Cards from UPrinting.com

Business Cards are a valuable tool in marketing yourself and your business. I’m really excited to announce that the lovely folks at UPrinting.com are sponsoring a 1,000 Free Business Cards Giveaway to one of you lucky readers! That’s right, you can get your business card printing absolutely FREE! Keep reading to find out how…

UPrinting.com offers an extensive line of print marketing services including business cards, postcards, brochures, mailing services and more. In addition, they even offer an online design tool to help you create your own custom designs with plenty of industry specific product templates. For those of you who are concerned about our environment, you will be happy to know that Digital Room is green-friendly and uses eco-friendly soy-based inks and paper stocks that range from 10%-30% recycled paper. This giveaway will be for 1000 custom printed business cards, you may choose from any of the stocks available with DigitalRoom. (I’ve seen their sample pack and I’d recommend 13 pt cover uncoated — looks professional, prints nicely and it’s recycled stock!)

  1. “Ditching your 9to5 to be Freelance & Fancy Free” is my favorite — lots of useful information for someone who’s trying to do that soon!

  2. When I decided to go freelance a few months ago, I found the 10 Things I Don’t Miss About My Old 9to5 a great affirmation that I was doing the right thing!

Also, loved seeing your kitten on Stuff on Your Cat

  3. I enjoyed the article on why freelancers should keep normal business hours. I have been trying to start my own business and not keeping normal business hours is only hurting my attempts to become a freelancer.

  4. Inspirational Quotes for Freelancers was my favorite blog.

It’s really hard to be motivated to start-up a business or organizations when things haven’t started, but after planning and some work it gets easier. I can never get over Nike’s trademark brand ‘Just Do It’ because I feel it captures the same essence as Yoda. Life doesn’t get any easier and if you jump into what you wanna do that I think there is a great reward from that pursuit. It seems like you have found your calling with this freelance career.

I also enjoyed the crystal light brand change because sometimes when a brand changes I find they lose a lot of key assets they had before (anyone remember Tropicana getting rid of their orange and straw image?).

  5. I have two favorite posts, “Ask A Freelancer #2: Coding Designs That Are Not Your Own” and “Ditching your 9to5 to be Freelance & Fancy Free.” Both of these have some great information about the freelance world and dealing with challenges that go along with being a freelance designer.

  6. I have to admit I am one of your newer readers. Which makes the post I like the most “CoCo’s Valuable Advice: Work Hard, Be Kind and Amazing Things Will Happen.” Mainly because this is the post I discovered your blog with and over the past few weeks I have been going through your previous ones. Great work!

Hope I win on the cards. *fingers crossed*

  7. I love when you talk about your kitten. :)

Seriously? I find it extremely helpful when you talk about your dealings with clients and any client talk really. You’re a great resource for that. Ask a Freelancer is the best category.
