The Whuffie Factor: Using the Power of Social Networks to Build Your Business by Tara Hunt: Think of each authentic social interaction as a transaction (an exchange of social currency,) the more meaningful transactions you make the more capital you gain and the greater your social worth. That's the basic idea behind whuffie (read my review on this book)

Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us by Seth Godin: Seth Godin's best work, IMHO! (Although the further I get through Linchpin, I may change my mind.) This book is just gets you in the mindset of viewing yourself within a larger community and enabling yourself to be a leader in that community.

Crush It!: Why NOW Is the Time to Cash In on Your Passion by Gary Vaynerchuck: I put this last because once you finish reading it, you are PUMPED and ready to get to work on building your personal brand. Gary is one of the most motivating voices ever, and not in that Kum Ba Yah granola kinda way - but in that get off your ass and get to work! kinda way! (read my review on this book)
